The South African Sports Medicine Association is an a-political, non-profit, multidisciplinary professional and scientific society dedicated to the motivation, responses, adaptation and health of people involved in sport and exercise.
SASMA’s objective is the promotion of sport science and sport medicine to benefit the South African community. SASMA collaborates with other similar international organisations, physicians, scientists, educators, sport and government bodies with similar interests.

BASRaT is the UK regulator and professional association for Sport Rehabilitators and an advocate of improving health through Physical Activity.
Sport Rehabilitators are experts in Exercise Prescription, as clinicians they focus on treating the patient in front of them and inspire patients to make positive lifestyle choices. BASRaT`s register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority, the UK`s top healthcare regulator
The Canadian Academy of Sport & Exercise Medicine (CASEM) is an organization of physicians committed to excellence in the practice of medicine as it applies to all aspects of physical activity. Our mission is to forge a strong, collective voice for sport & exercise medicine for the benefit of all Canadians.
The Swiss Sport Physiotherapy Association (SSPA), founded in 2002, counts currently more than 550 sport physiotherapists. The SVSP is a recognized expert group of the Swiss Physiotherapy Association, a member organization of the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapy, and a member society of BJSM since 2011.
Sports Medicine Association Singapore (SMAS) is the registered society for Sports Medicine and Sports Science professionals in Singapore. We are a non-profit organisation committed to the promotion of quality Sports Medicine and Sports Science education to the sporting community in Singapore and beyond. Our members represent and embody the multi-disciplinary spirit that is key to the specialty. Our integrated community includes doctors, physiotherapists, podiatrists, sports nutritionists and dieticians, exercise physiologists, sports scientists and sports psychologists.
Danish Society of Sports Physical Therapy, a specialist society under IFSPT of physiotherapists with professional knowledge takes care of the members’ interests, including:
• continuous development, education, research, and documentation of evidence-based sports physical therapy
• work for members’ interests and advice in sports physical therapy
• establish contact between physiotherapists and other organizations working in sports nationally and internationally
Netherlands Association of Sports Medicine (VSG) is the scientific and professional association for Sports Physician’s and other medical specialists interested in Sport and Exercise Medicine (SEM). We stand for the development of SEM in the broadest sense, promoting and monitoring the quality of SEM as well as the optimization of fitness and health for all.
GIS sport AIFI is the specific interest group for sport, and is member organization of IFSPT. The GIS sport brings together italian physiotherapists who work with athletes or who are involved in sport, promoting specialist skills and research.

The Society of Sports Therapists is the lead membership body for Sports Therapists in the UK. Graduate Sports Therapists possess the skills and knowledge to prevent, treat and rehabilitate musculoskeletal injury to return a person back to their optimum level of performance or activity within a sport, health or wellness setting.
